2024 Fall Basketball Clinic
JM Hoops is excited to announce the Offensive Skills Clinic for August and September. We hope to equip each player with the added confidence and tools to enhance their basketball game. We look forward to working with your child!

JM Hoops Offensive Skills Clinic is for boys in grades 4 - 7. The clinic includes five one-hour sessions consisting of drills designed to improve shooting, ball handling, passing, defense and footwork, as well as increasing confidence and knowledge of the game. Players work on ball handling, passing, movement without the ball, individual offensive moves, and competing in 1:1, 3:3 and 5:5 games.
The Offensive Skills Clinic is held at Twin Oaks Middle School (TOMS) on the following dates and times:
August 19 and 26
September 9, 16, and 23
Session 1: Grade 4 (5:00-6:00 pm)
Session 2: Grade 5 (6:00-7:00 pm)
Session 3: Grade 6 (7:00-8:00 pm)
Session 4: Grade 7 (8:00-9:00 pm)
The maximum number of participants is 25 for each session to ensure a small player to coach ratio and maximum repetitions.
Cost is $125
Refund Policy:
Refund requested 1-7 days before camp/clinic: 25% refund.
Refund requested 8-14 days before camp/clinic: 50% refund.
Refund requested 15+ days before camp/clinic: 75% refund.

Jon Miller has over 25 years experience coaching basketball at all levels – kindergarten through Varsity. As a former high school and college player that he understands the time commitment and skills needed for athletes to develop.
Jon is enthusiastic, passionate and has a strong knowledge of the offensive and defensive game. He stays up to date on coaching techniques and current trends in basketball. He has been a member of Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association since 1999.
Jon received a BA in secondary education from the University of Minnesota Duluth and a MS in Curriculum and Instruction from MN State Mankato. He currently teaches at Shakopee High School.
Jon and his wife Emily have lived in Prior Lake for over 25 years. They have two adult sons, Kellan and Zane, and a dog Teddie. Jon is a member of the St. Mike’s Catholic Church and active in Special Olympics Minnesota. In his free time, Jon enjoys muskie fishing, home improvement projects and being outdoors.
