“New to Basketball” Summer Basketball Camp Register here
Want to learn how to play basketball? This camp is for you! During three sessions, campers will learn passing, shooting, and ball handling. They will understand the basics of offense and defense. Campers will learn how to play in a game setting and participate in fun contests. Note: this is an introductory camp for boys and girls.

Jon Miller has over 25 years experience coaching basketball at all levels – kindergarten through Varsity. As a former high school and college player that he understands the time commitment and skills needed for athletes to develop.
Jon is enthusiastic, passionate and has a strong knowledge of the offensive and defensive game. He stays up to date on coaching techniques and current trends in basketball. He has been a member of Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association since 1999.
Jon received a BA in secondary education from the University of Minnesota Duluth and a MS in Curriculum and Instruction from MN State Mankato. He currently teaches at Shakopee High School.
Jon and his wife Emily have lived in Prior Lake for over 25 years. They have two adult sons, Kellan and Zane, and a dog Teddie. Jon is a member of the St. Mike’s Catholic Church and active in Special Olympics Minnesota. In his free time, Jon enjoys muskie fishing, home improvement projects and being outdoors.
